At PDXconnects, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive in the workplace. Our Job Coaching service is designed to provide individuals with the tools, confidence, and support they need to achieve meaningful employment and long-term success.

Whether you’re entering the workforce for the first time, returning after a break, or exploring a new career path, our experienced job coaches work one-on-one with you to help set goals, build skills, and navigate the world of work with clarity and confidence.

Ongoing Job Coaching is focused on helping individuals maintain employment and achieve long-term success. This support may include continued skill-building and opportunities for advancement, based on each person’s goals and interests.

Job Development is available through Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), and individuals can request a referral through their Personal Agent or Service Coordinator. In some cases, the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) may also fund Job Development. Initial Job Coaching is typically funded by VR and is time-limited. After that, individuals receiving Case Management services through a brokerage or county may hire a Job Coach for continued support in the workplace.

At PDXconnects, our Supported Employment Professionals serve as both Job Developers and Job Coaches, ensuring a smooth, coordinated transition from job search to long-term employment support.
