PDXconnects provides one-on-one supports to individuals in order to gain independent living skills. These skills look different for each person. These skills may include but are not limited to: accessing community supports, meal preparation, nutritional supports, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, grocery shopping, using public transportation, communication supports, support in paying at stores, and much more.

Social Enrichment Support
PDXconnects provides social enrichment opportunities to support individuals in small and/or large group settings. We help each person foster confidence in their abilities to gain social skills, build friendships, and use each experience as a teachable moment. These supports are the grass roots in order to ensure individuals are employment ready.

Supported employment is a service that helps people with disabilities to get and keep jobs in competitive workplaces. We are contracted with Vocational Rehab (VR), County and Brokerage systems to assist Job Seekers with Job Development and provide initial Job Coaching after job obtainment. We provide Career Exploration, Job Placement, and Retention Support (Job Coaching).
