Supported employment is a service that helps people with disabilities to get and keep jobs in competitive workplaces.

Supported Employment Services

PDXconnects contracts through Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) to assist Job Seekers with Job Development and provide initial Job Coaching after job obtainment. An individual’s Voc Rehab Counselors (VRC) can connect them to PDXconnects. We provide the following VR contracted services:

Job Development

PDXconnects provides job development assistance to individuals in order to connect them with the right career fit.

Job Placement

PDXconnects offers job placement services to support individuals in applying to and being placed in their dream job.

Retention Support

PDXconnects provides job coaching to individuals after obtaining their new job position to help them thrive.

Additionally, we provide Initial, Ongoing and Maintenance Job Coaching for individuals who receive ODDS (Office of Developmental Disabilities Services) services. An individual’s Personal Agent (PA) or Service Coordinator (SC) can assist them to contract with PDXconnects for this service.
